What Is This Saturday Of Which You Speak?

I am grossly unfamiliar with the concept of a weekend. The only weekends I have taken in the past 7 years have been those that have fallen as part of my vacations. So here I am with a whole weekend (let’s be frank: a whole lotta free time) on my hands, and I am completely at a loss as to what to do. Kevin has spent the day giving me a tutorial of how the weekend works, but, alas, I still do not fully grasp the concept. Tomorrow is another story, as it will be spent sending out my resume, but all in all, I think I’m in pretty good shape.
I know everybody is anxious to know exactly what happened, but for right now, suffice it to say that sometimes a scapegoat is necessary, and I was more than willing to be the sacrificial lamb. It’s been time for me to move on for a really long time, and this was just the push I needed. People believe what they want to, especially when it’s easier and more convenient. I, however, am made of stronger stuff, and I’m a big believer in doing what’s honest, right, and true.
And who knows? Maybe The Redhead is on to something. I may just write that novel yet.

Hey there…. long time no see. Weekends are a good thing. And I would love to read your novel… the first draft please, I hate waiting.
I just finished Nora Roberts’ The Three Fates… fun read… When I win the lottery lets all go to Ireland.

I hope Kevin was able to teach you how to enjoy your weekend!!

Weekends used to be spent doing happy things such as gardening, going to movies, reading the newspapers cover to cover, catching up with friends, the neverending cleaning out of closets, etc…there’s always something to do! I have never understood boredom - life is just too short. (Seems ironic now doesn’t it)
