Any one espousing any religion can pervert it beyond recognition. I know Muslims who despise the actions taken by those who killed Nick Berg and many others. They are sruggling for understanding and acceptance, this doesn't help them in that. They are wounded when others use their religion as a justification for barbaric acts. They want these individuals to pay just as much, maybe even more than I do. They see this not only as a gruesome murder but as an assination of their sacred religion. You make a good point that I would not want others to see the acts of some of these madmen and assume that all Christians share the same views. I certainly do not. I do have one question/ point of clarification and it is early, so perhaps my reading comprehension skills are lacking. Are you listing Hitler in with the Christians? I know that this is a much debated topic but, I don't believe he was. Consider the quotes below "Christianity is an invention of sick brains," Adolf Hitler, 13 December 1941. "So it's not opportune to hurl ourselves now into a struggle with the Churches. The best thing is to let Christianity die a natural death," Adolf Hitler, 14 October 1941.
