I’m Just A Girl
I realized today that I have spent $90 in the last two weeks on my nails and my eyebrows. What’s really startling is that I didn’t even bat an eyelash when I came to this startling realization. In fact, I then calculated that I will spend another $90 two weeks from now on the very same things. I’ve never been particularly vain, but I sure do like my pretty hands and feet. Still, $30 for a fill may be a little excessive, no matter how great your manicurist is. Now I just need a haircut, and I’ll be a whole new girl.
Do not mock my girliness. I am now officially at peace with it.

Please, it’s so worth it! I don’t even want to tell you what I spend on my hair and if I had someone to watch the little one I’d be getting my toes done once a month too!

I used to get my nails done regularly, and shopped regularly for some pretty nice clothes (read: not jeans). I was girly and I liked it. Maybe we should have a monthly or bi-weekly date to get the nails and brows done, and then do a little shopping. That way we don’t have to do any MAJOR clothes shopping at once, and we always have nice clothes, and we’ll look good in ‘em b/c our nails and brows will be done! Seriously.
